Job Description Job Description and Requirements:The New
Hampshire procurement team is looking for a candidate to assume a
Buyer/Planner role. The Buyer/Planner's role is to provide the best
value procurement consistent with cost, quality and service
requirements while maintaining excellent supplier relationships.
This position interfaces with many internal and external
stakeholders including but not limited to supply chain management,
supplier quality, manufacturing, and programs. This position will
be responsible for the planning and executing of requisitions,
ensuring that purchase orders get placed in a timely manner, and
expediting any orders to meet our program needs.
Responsibilities:
Strong business acumen with excellent
written, verbal, and listening skills. Ability to successfully
interface with supplier leadership teams.Data driven decision
maker; ensures compliance with policies and procedures.Strong
communication skills with an assertive and forthcoming professional
demeanor.Ability to operate in a demanding and dynamic
culture.Support supplier development, negotiations, administration,
supplier improvement and management.Help to prepare metrics on a
weekly basis, and at Monthly Business Reviews (MBR's).Manage and
report on supplier requisitions and purchase orders.Track and
report on Supplier delivery dates. Resolve receiving and invoice
issues.Manage non-conforming material returns to suppliers and
close non-conformances within 14 days.Resolve master schedules and
production problems and negotiates lead times.Required Education,
Experience, & Skills Requirements:Bachelors' Degree or equivalent
experienceAbility to execute/ oversee the planning and procurement
of electronic componentsStrong communication, organizational and
analytical skillsWork effectively in a team environmentProven
problem solving capabilitiesPreferred Education, Experience, &
Skills Preferred Requirements:Have hands-on experience with MRP
systems (preferably Oracle)Prior Procurement experienceFamiliarity
with FAR/DFAR regulations and Export Control requirementsMicrosoft
Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Data ViewPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $64130 - $109010Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
