Job Description The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal
point for all supply chain activities. The planner develops and
implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that
address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in
support of business growth and sustainment. The planner supports
execution of programs and coordination of new program / product
launches. The SCP monitors key performance indicators, analyzes
performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to
increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. The Supply
Chain Planner optimizes how supply chain management interfaces with
manufacturing systems. The SCP will plan, prepare, issue and
control material requirements in conjunction with the production
schedule. Planner will support risk management activities impacting
the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner
ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain
contract/internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize system and
process tools to achieve program / functional goals.As a Senior
Principle Planner, this position requires that the individual
possess a strong understanding of procurement and planning process
steps; the individual must be capable of troubleshooting process
failures to ensure success for the program. The candidate will be
expected to train and mentor junior level supply chain team
members. This position relies on experience and judgment to
organize, plan, and accomplish department objectives with a wide
degree of creativity, continuous improvement approach, and latitude
expected to fulfill a variety of duties. The Senior Principle SCP
will lead, develop, and implement supply chain strategies for the
program / product line. This candidate will network with management
and team members across the enterprise to drive success.Because of
the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the
requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this
particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work
experience or equivalent experience
- Planning experience in a large multifaceted electronic
manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
- Significant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other),
inclusive of shop floor control systems
- Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
- Inventory / stockroom management
- Project Management experience
- Ability to verbally and accurately report production status to
program team or factory team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Create presentation materials and give presentations to
leadership team, production team, and customers
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Ability to analyze, react, and train on exceptions in MRP,
especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase
Requisitions, Purchase Orders and ECOs with minimal assistance from
the Supply Chain Manager.
- The individual would be proactive to reduce exceptions and may
influence system change requests to the MRP system.
- Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)Preferred

- Higher level education completed or in
process
- APICS certified
- Ability to implement Lean & Six Sigma process improvement
- Root Cause/Corrective Action Subject Matter Expert
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge with the ability to
formally teach in two or more of the following: Supply Chain,
Demand Planning, Inventory Management, and Rough Cut Capacity
Planning or Production Planning, Production SchedulingPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
